Frequently asked questions

Does the app work without cell service?

The map, listings, and "just ask" answers work from data built into the app, so most features keep working in spots with weak signal. Satellite map imagery and external links need a connection.

Why does it ask for my location?

Location is only used to show where you are on the fairgrounds map and to find the nearest restroom, first aid, and other essentials. It is never collected, stored, or shared. You can use the app fully without granting it.

Why does it ask for the microphone?

The microphone is used only when you tap to ask a question by voice, so the app can turn your speech into a search. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.

Something looks wrong — a location, a vendor, a time.

Fair details change year to year. If you spot something off, please email us with the detail and we'll get it fixed.
